The great outdoors offers plenty of room and opportunity to create your own source of delight by learning the skills necessary to become a successful wilderness guide in the fly fishing and/or hunting world and we’re here to help!
What can I expect to learn?
Each summer, Falls Creek Outdoors LLC offers a hands-on, week-long Kanektok River float trip class we call the Alaska Guide Training Program. Seven days of in-depth instructionals; teaching fly fishing, fly tying, rowing/boatman skills, wading, reading water, valuable knots, cooking, camp savvy, GPS navigation, 1st-aid, water safety, client relations, survival skills, bear protection and more. Certificate of completion and job placement assistance provided.
